General Motors to Produce an Electrified Corvette

In an interview with CNBC, Mark Reuss, General Motors President, revealed that there will be a gas-electric hybrid Corvette, followed by an all-electric version of the iconic sports car. While we are unsure of the all-electric version’s arrival, we can expect the hybrid vehicle some time next year. By 2035, GM intends to exclusively sell electric vehicles and plans to have 30 new EVs globally by 2025. Chevrolet Blazer EV Spotted

Early last month, Chevrolet shared a 20 second teaser of the brand-new Blazer EV, and this week we got to see it in prototype form on the road. Although heavily camouflaged, many distinguishing features, such as the front fender, charging door, and sideview mirrors indicate that its identical to the vehicle shown in Chevrolet’s teaser last month. With its 21-inch wheels wrapped in 275/45R21 Michelin rubber, placeholder lighting elements, and interesting aerodynamics and design elements, we can’t wait to learn even more about the Blazer EV.

Chevrolet Bolt EV and EUV Voted Top Pick for Commuting

Cars.com released their list of “Top Pick” vehicles and we’re happy to announce that the 2022 Chevrolet Bolt EV and EUV were chosen for the Commuter EV segment. Different variables such as price, range, features, and comfort were gauged to determine the Bolt as the winner of its segment. Cars.com noted that both the EV and EUV models were “quick, fun to drive, and compact enough for congested streets and city parking, yet comfortable.” With the EV allowing for 259 miles per charge and the EUV allowing for 247 miles, there’s no disagreeing that the Bolts…

Another Look at the 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV

With the unveiling of the Equinox EV earlier this year at the Consumer Electronics Show, fans have been given another look at this highly anticipated vehicle. Chevrolet recently released a short clip of the Equinox EV that sports a stunning shade of blue. General Motors Teases Chevrolet Blazer SS

Earlier this week General Motors released a teaser clip of the Blazer SS, which will utilize the BEV (Battery Electric Vehicle) platform, along with its proprietary Ultium battery technology and Ultium Drive electric motors. While we’re unsure of the drive specs, we anticipate the Chevy Blazer SS to output around 480 horsepower and 634 pound-feet of torque to be comparative if not superior to its competitors. GM’s $7 Billion Investment

General Motors Chair and CEO, Mary Barra, recently announced the company’s plan to invest over $7 billion across four Michigan manufacturing sites. This investment will include constructing a new cell plant near Lansing, MI for the creation of their proprietary, Ultium Cells, as well as converting their plant in Orion Township, MI into production for the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra EVs. Chevrolet Silverado Dominates Ford F-150 Lightning in Multiple Categories

 Although Ford revealed their electric pick up truck almost a year ago, Chevrolet did what it took to outdo them in multiple categories. With a starting price of $39,999, the Chevrolet EV measures in at 780 pound-feet toque and 664 horsepower with 400 miles of driving range. Chevy Blazer EV and Equinox EV Arriving in 2023

Alongside the announcement of the Silverado EV, Chevrolet also announced a new Blazer EV and Equinox EV slated to launch for the 2023 calendar year. Chevrolet’s vice president, Steve Hill states, “Providing an affordable EV option in the industry’s highest volume segment proves Chevy is going to make EVs available to everyone.” Stay tuned for more announcements on these up and coming vehicles!
