Chevrolet Silverado EV Production Timeframe Revealed

At a recent investor conference, General Motors Executive Vice President, Doug Parks, confirmed the production timeframe for the Silverado EV for the 2023 calendar year. Its debut is slated at the Consumer Electronics show early next year, with Mary Barra, General Motors CEO, as the keynote speaker. More Chevrolet EVs Coming

GM President, Mark Reuss revealed to investors that the Chevrolet Silverado EV will be followed by a Chevrolet Equinox EV, or equivalent, Blazer EV, and a smaller EV crossover.  The Equinox EV is projected to be priced around $30,000 and be powered by GMs proprietary Ultium technology. While Reuss didn’t reveal an exact availability date for these new vehicles, he did note that they will be among 30 electric models that GM plans to introduce by 2025. ’22 Bolt EV Gets New 5 Hues

Keeping two colors from the previous year- Summit White and Mosaic Black Metallic, five new hues were added to the color availability. The ’22 Bolt EV can also be found in Cherry Red Tintcoat, Silver Flare Metallic, Gray Ghost Metallic, Bright Blue Metallic, and Ice Blue Metallic. While a majority of these options are available at no extra charge, the Bright Blue Metallic costs an extra $395 and the Cherry Red Tintcoat an extra $495.
