General Motors announced the 2024 Equinox EV at CES 2022 at the beginning of the year, with the announcement of the Chevy Blazer SS following in March. Despite the Equinox’s reveal first, the Blazer SS will be produced first. GM CEO, Mary Barra, has confirmed that the Blazer will enter production mid-2023, with the Equinox following later that year. While the Blazer will focus on performance, the Equinox is intended to appeal to the mass market with an approximate $30,000 starting price. Both vehicles will utilize GM’s BEV3 platform as well as their proprietary Ultium battery and Drive technologies. We can’t wait to learn more about the vehicles’ specs as well as their exact production date. When we learn more, you’ll learn more! In the meantime, Phillips Chevrolet of Frankfort, Lansing and Bradley has Illinois’ Largest Chevy Inventory, including a great selection of Blazers. Can’t find the Blazer you’re looking for?
