Alongside the announcement of the Silverado EV, Chevrolet also announced a new Blazer EV and Equinox EV slated to launch for the 2023 calendar year. The Equinox is estimated to start at an MSRP of $30,000 with both fleet and retail versions, including LT and RS trims. While a lot is still unknown for both crossovers, we do know that they will incorporate GM’s proprietary Ultium technology. In an effort to transition to all-electric powertrains, General Motors plans to launch a total of 30 new EV models globally by 2025. Chevrolet’s vice president, Steve Hill states, “Providing an affordable EV option in the industry’s highest volume segment proves Chevy is going to make EVs available to everyone.” Stay tuned for more announcements on these up and coming vehicles!
