Earlier this week GM Authority spotted what looks to be a mysterious prototype for a new crossover model. It was first sighted last fall under the assumption of it being the next-generation Chevy Equinox, but now we know the Equinox is being transformed into an EV. Earlier this week General Motors released a teaser clip of the Blazer SS, which will utilize the BEV (Battery Electric Vehicle) platform, along with its proprietary Ultium battery technology and Ultium Drive electric motors. While we’re unsure of the drive specs, we anticipate the Chevy Blazer SS to output around 480 horsepower and 634 pound-feet of torque to be comparative if not superior to its competitors. With two power engine options, the Chevrolet Silverado 2500 is among the most versatile heavy-duty pickup trucks in the Chevrolet lineup. This powerful truck features a Vortec 6.0-liter V-8 engine mated to a six-speed automatic transmission for heavy duty applications. About 464 lb-ft of torque are generated by this engine, which has 401 horsepower.

If instead you opt for a crew cab model, you will get a 6.6-liter turbo-diesel V-8 Duramax engine that produces 445-hp and 910 pound-foot of torque.
