Just in time for Chevrolet’s Truck Month, the configurator for the refreshed 2022 Silverado 1500 is now live on Chevrolet’s website. The configurator will allow prospective customers build their own version of the pickup truck, allowing for their preference of body style, bed length, powertrain, trim level and features all while providing a final price summary. This has been a long-awaited vehicle since it unveiled last September and we’re thrilled that we’re able to start building. Starting at $31,500, this truck allows for 13,000 lbs of available trailing with a max 2,270 lb available payload. If you’re new to towing or have a long day of towing ahead of you, no need to fret. With technologies such as Trailer Sway Control, Hill Start Assist, Auto Grade Braking, and 8 cameras with up to 14 different views, you can keep your eye on your cargo with no need to stress if you’re going to lose it. In addition to its towing capabilities, the refreshed Silverado offers consumers four different powertrains- turbocharged 2.7L I4 L3B gas engine, atmospheric 5.3L V8 L84 gas engine, 6.2L V8 L87 gas engine, and 3.0L I6 LM2 turbodiesel Duramax.
