J.D Power recently released their Vehicle Dependability Study (VDS) examining how 2020 model-year vehicles are performing today and we’re happy to announce that three Chevrolet models ranked the highest in their segment. The Chevrolet Tahoe took first place in the Large SUV segment, the Blazer won in the Midsize SUV segment, and the Silverado HD came out on top in the Large Heavy-Duty Pickup segment. Summer tires are also called performance tires, and they tend to offer better grip in warm or hot conditions. Ideally, they will be used in areas where the temperature is above 44 degrees. Compared to tires designed for use throughout the year, they tend to help vehicles get better gas mileage.

Those who are looking to protect the investment that they make in their vehicle's tires may prefer winter tires over performance products.  

Car owners tend to spend a lot on their car interiors, car paint and so on. But there is one aspect that the car owners tend to ignore. This is the replacing of the old car tires.

While a fresh set of new tires may not necessarily add to the looks of the car, they would be vital to the safety of the car and its occupants. Hence replacing old tires has to the topmost priority. 

Windshield wiper blades are made of rubber. They come in many types, such as winter blades and summer blades. Winter blades have a low profile and tighter seal against the glass, while summer blades are taller.

Another aspect of choosing replacement windshield wiper blades is the location on the vehicle. 

New tires are those with 10/32nds of an inch’s worth of tread. Studies determining how well – or how poorly – vehicles with this level of tread can stop on a wet roadway have found that they stop with an average of 195 feet when going a whopping 70 miles per hour. This is equivalent to the length of 5 full-sized school buses.
