The team at Phillips Auto Group of Bradley was joined yesterday by representatives from our construction contractors to break ground on an expansion to our facility. We’ve begun construction on a new car wash that will allow us to easily deliver sparkling clean vehicles to our sales and service guests. Our Frankfort and Lansing locations are already equipped with car washes, so once this project is complete, every time you bring your car to any Phillips Chevrolet location for service, it will be returned to you after a trip through our gentle, soft-cloth car wash (weather permitting).

In honor of his nomination for Time Ally Dealer of the year, Phillips Chevrolet President Curtis Pascarella and Vice President Donna Pascarella presented a check for $1,000 to General Community Leader Sister Joyce Shanabarger of the Franciscan Sisters of the Sacred Heart. These funds will help the Franciscan Sisters in their work in health care, education, parish ministry, diocesan ministry, retreat ministry, bodywork, and ministry among the poor, as well as supporting the Franciscan Foundation which helps support the work of non-profit organizations in the United States.

With the unveiling of the Equinox EV earlier this year at the Consumer Electronics Show, fans have been given another look at this highly anticipated vehicle. Chevrolet recently released a short clip of the Equinox EV that sports a stunning shade of blue. With a new year comes an updated model! GM Authority recently spotted the 2024 Chevy Tahoe out testing on public roads. Although a majority of the vehicle was covered in thick camouflage, we noticed differences from last year’s model on the front and rear fascia. Who says you need a truck to tow? Chevrolet offers a variety of vehicles capable of hauling your cargo. The Traverse equipped with the Trailering Equipment Package is a great option, allowing for a max towing capacity of 5,000 lbs. Earlier this week GM Authority spotted what looks to be a mysterious prototype for a new crossover model. It was first sighted last fall under the assumption of it being the next-generation Chevy Equinox, but now we know the Equinox is being transformed into an EV. We speculate that this crossover could join the current Trailblazer and Equinox in Chevy’s crossover portfolio. From the looks of it, we’re unsure of what we’ll find under the hood, especially considering not knowing which continent it will be released in, but we will keep investigating and reporting until we find…

Earlier this week General Motors released a teaser clip of the Blazer SS, which will utilize the BEV (Battery Electric Vehicle) platform, along with its proprietary Ultium battery technology and Ultium Drive electric motors. While we’re unsure of the drive specs, we anticipate the Chevy Blazer SS to output around 480 horsepower and 634 pound-feet of torque to be comparative if not superior to its competitors.
