With a new year comes an updated model! GM Authority recently spotted the 2024 Chevy Tahoe out testing on public roads. Although a majority of the vehicle was covered in thick camouflage, we noticed differences from last year’s model on the front and rear fascia. In terms of the front of the vehicle, we spotted revisions to the primary headlights as well as indications of a front-facing camera due to the cutouts across the front end. On top of the vehicle the antenna seems to be changing as the current model has a “shark fin” shaped antenna, whereas the refreshed 2024 Tahoe appears to be sporting a bubble or cap shape antenna. In the rear, the protype is equipped with a tucked-under exhaust treatment, similar to the current Tahoe RST, but the rest of the rear bumper appears to be new- most noticeably, the rear reflector strips are placed lower on the bumper and pushed more towards the sides. The Chevy Tahoe has continued to dominate its Mainstream Full-Size SUV segment year over year. With a combined 194,268 units sold in 2020 & 2021, we can’t wait to see what the future holds 2022!
