Production for the 2023 Chevrolet Colorado began late last month and we can’t wait for them to arrive on dealership lots this spring. In anticipation of its arrival, we wanted to highlight some of the coolest features that were noted by The Newswheel, an online source for automotive news. Not only did they highlight enhanced technology within the vehicle, but they mentioned its power, storage, and added trim level for this model. A lot of new things are coming this year for Chevrolet, so stay tuned for more Chevy news! 

J.D Power recently released their Vehicle Dependability Study (VDS) examining how 2020 model-year vehicles are performing today and we’re happy to announce that three Chevrolet models ranked the highest in their segment. The Chevrolet Tahoe took first place in the Large SUV segment, the Blazer won in the Midsize SUV segment, and the Silverado HD came out on top in the Large Heavy-Duty Pickup segment. Phillips Chevrolet of Frankfort, Lansing and Bradley has Illinois’ Largest Chevy Inventory, including a great selection of dependable Chevrolets.

Last October General Motors unveiled the reimagined entry level crossover SUV, the 2024 Chevrolet Trax. Now only four months later, we’re happy to announce that production has begun! Pricing for the Trax will begin at $21,495 making it affordable to the masses. We expect to see units reach dealership lots as early as this spring. As a reminder, the Trax will have five trim levels – LS, 1RS, LT, 2RS, and Activ with three different wheel size options – 17 inch, 18 inch, and 19 inch. Phillips Chevrolet was presented today with an award as the 2022 Illinois Sales Leader for Chevrolet. We are proud to have earned this award for 17 consecutive years, recognizing our achievements in retail sales. Chevrolet Zone Manager, Mark Gilbert, made a trip out to our dealership this morning to officially present us with our trophy.

Congratulations to the Phillips Chevrolet sales team for achieving the title of Number One Selling Chevy Dealer in Illinois for the 17^th year in a row. This award-winning team was honored by General Motors and Chevrolet executives at an awards ceremony at the Chicago Auto Show this morning.  Individual honors were also presented to Product Specialist Rami Alamawi who was number one in Illinois for the thirteenth time. In total, thirteen of our Product Specialists were among the Top 100 for sales in the region. 

General Motors recently unveiled the refreshed 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer and we can’t wait for it to become available! We can expect brand-new styling, an overhauled interior and new standard features. Beginning with the styling, you’ll find thinner upper lighting signatures in the front in addition to a new grille treatment. The lineup will include a LS, LT, Active, and RS trim levels, each including their own front fascia, exterior lighting and grille design. We’re happy to announce that the Chevy Equinox, one of Chevrolet’s fan-favorite SUV’s, had leaping sales in Q4 of 2022. In the United States alone, the total delivered units in Q4 of 2022 added up to 47,748, an increase of approximately 243 percent compared to 14,213 units sold in Q4 of 2021. For the complete calendar year, Equinox sales increased approximately 28 percent from 165,323 units in 2021 to 212,072. At the end of January Edmunds released the list of winners of the Edmunds Top Rated Awards for 2023 and we’re happy to announce the Chevrolet Bolt EV won the Top Rated Electric Car segment. Candidates are determined by evaluating nearly every car, truck or SUV that’s available on the market and selecting three Top Rated finalists in six different segments - afterwards Edmunds crowns one from each segment as the winner. Factors such as performance, comfort, technology, fuel economy and value are all taken into consideration.
