This week at the SEMA automotive accessories show, Chevrolet introduced the 50^th Anniversary edition of the COPO Camaro, the racing specific variant of the Chevrolet Camaro. The Anniversary edition includes an Engine Appearance Package inspired by vintage Chevy performance engines, with an orange engine block, chrome valve covers and a black high-rise intake manifold. We’ve been seeing spy shots of an all-new, redesigned Chevrolet Silverado HD for a while now, so it should be unveiled soon. In the meantime, we have learned that the Silverado HD’s current Vortec 6.0L V8 L96 engine is expected to be replaced by a new 6.6L V8. Now that the all-new, redesigned light duty Chevrolet Silverado 1500 has arrived, it’s almost time for its big brother, the 2500 HD Silverado, to be revealed. In the meantime, spy photographers have captured a heavy duty Silverado out testing while towing a trailer. Lighter camouflage than previous spy shots gives us a little better idea of the new Silverado’s shape, carrying on the design language of the 1500. Since the Chevy Silverado received a much-lauded makeover for the 2019 model year, we know that its platform mates, the Chevy Tahoe and Suburban, couldn’t be too far behind. A few Tahoe test vehicles have been spotted out and about, but this one may be a new version of the Tahoe’s popular RST trim level.
