We are excited to share the news that the popular, rugged Trail Boss trim is coming soon to the Chevy Silverado EV! The EV Trail Boss will feature a suite of off-road ready features like higher ground clearance, four-wheel steering, red front tow hooks, 35 inch all-terrain tires, and more. It also offers max towing of 12,500lb and 2,100 lb of payload with the extended range battery pack, and up to 725 horsepower and 775 lb-ft of torque with the Max Range battery pack.....

The folks over at Edmunds.com recently put the Chevy Silverado EV to the test to see if they could match the EPA-estimated top range of 492 miles on a full charge. The model tested was a Silverado EV Work Truck with the max range battery pack, and Edmunds’ team was able to squeeze an extra 47 miles over the EPA estimate for 539 total miles on a single charge. And that’s not under carefully controlled testing conditions to maximize mileage..........

We’re learning more about what’s new for the Chevy Silverado EV for the 2026 model year, and there’s a lot to look forward to! We’ve already reported that the RST trim level will be discontinued to make way for the even more capable Trail Boss trim level with added off-road features.
