In the United States alone, the total delivered units in Q4 of 2022 added up to 47,748, an increase of approximately 243 percent compared to 14,213 units sold in Q4 of 2021. At the end of January Edmunds released the list of winners of the Edmunds Top Rated Awards for 2023 and we’re happy to announce the Chevrolet Bolt EV won the Top Rated Electric Car segment. The Q4 2022 sales statistics for the sports car segment are in, and we’re happy to announce the Chevrolet Corvette dominated its competitors taking a 58 percent market share. In Q4 of 2021 8,293 Corvettes were sold and increased about 10 percent reaching 9,130 units in Q4 of 2022. Sharing the space with the Porsche 911 and 718 in addition to the Mercedes-Benz AMG SL-Class and AMG GT, their market share didn’t even add up to 58 percent with Porsche’s two entries at 25 percent and Mercedes’s at 12 percent.

Late last week, General Motors announced their investment plan of $918 Million in order to support the production of the sixth-generation Small Block V-8 engine in addition to EV production and future strategies. The announcement noted four different locations for U.S. Plants, including two in Michigan, one in Ohio and one in New York.
