Every year, Motor Trend magazine presents their Best Car, SUV, and Truck of the year with awards, and this year they’ve added a new category – Best Tech. We are delighted to report that General Motors’ Super Cruise hands-free driving system earned this award in its inaugural year. Super Cruise equipped vehicles allow the driver to drive hands-free when compatible road driving conditions allow the feature to be available, but the driver still needs to pay close attention to the road. Kelley Blue Book recently put the 2025 Chevy Traverse to the test in a head-to-head comparison against the Toyota Highlander, and we are pleased to report that the Traverse came out ahead in several key areas. KBB reports that the Traverse has retained all of the characteristics that fans loved about the previous generation while adding new features that make it even better. Motortrend Magazine recently took a deep dive into the available engines in big SUVs, and their findings may surprise you. While most full size SUVs have switched to turbocharged V6 engines, the Chevy Tahoe and Suburban continue going strong with the power of 8 cylinders.  The available 6.2L EcoTec3 V8 engine, providing 420 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque, allows both models to tow over 8,000 pounds (that’s an 8,400 pound max for the Tahoe and 8,200 pound max for the Suburban). We’re all eagerly anticipating the arrival the 2025 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 later this year, and here’s some news that has us even more excited! The ZR1 has taken to five of America’s most legendary tracks and has set new lap records at all of them! JD Power released the results of their 2025 Vehicle Dependability Study, and we are pleased to report that four Chevrolet models lead their segments! For this study, JD Power surveyed owners of 2022 model year vehicles to determine any issues they’ve encountered across nine major vehicle categories: climate; driving assistance; driving experience; exterior; features/controls/displays; infotainment; interior; powertrain; and seats.
