Every year the editors of Clean Technica, a website devoted to green technology, name their top five electric vehicles of the year then allow readers to vote on the finalists to determine a winner. We are delighted to report that the Chevy Equinox EV came out on top with 45% of the vote, 21% more than second place. For the month of December, Phillips Chevrolet pledged to donate $25 to local food pantries for every EV test drive at any Phillips location, and we are delighted to report that we reached our goal! General Sales Manager Brian McMahon just updated our progress board to show that we’ve reached our $5,000 goal. These funds will be used by our local food pantry partners to help local families in need.
