Chevrolet has expanded its Police Pursuit Vehicle (PPV) fleet to include the Silverado into the mix. Ed Peper, U.S vice president of GM Fleet stated, “Our 25 years of engineering Tahoe police pursuit vehicles coupled with Chevrolet’s 100 years of truck success, puts us in a great position to deliver a truly capable Silverado PPV for our customers.” The new vehicle will be built on a crew-cab, short-bed, four-wheel drive platform, designed for high speeds and dynamic capability with comfort and storage capacity in mind for an every day patrol vehicle.
