Chevrolet recently unveiled the all-new redesigned 2025 Chevy Equinox and you may be asking yourself how if differs from the current generation. The new Equinox is a bit longer and wider than the 2024 model, translating to a roomier cabin. The exterior styling has been updated with slim lighting and a more squared-off look compared to the swept-back look of the current Equinox. The new Equinox also adds black cladding around the wheels that isn’t present on the current generation, providing a more rugged, sporty look. It all adds up to a great looking new crossover.....

The folks at Kelley Blue Book recently put the Chevrolet Blazer to the test head to head against the Nissan Murano, and we are pleased to report that the Blazer came out on top in several key areas. While the Murano starts at $39,580, you can bring home a Blazer for as low as $36,795 before discounts and incentives. And for that affordable price, you get a lot including a turbo 4-cylinder with plenty of passing power. A V6 engine option is also available, giving the Blazer a max towing rating of 4,500 pounds. 

The folks at Edmunds recently put the all-new redesigned 2024 Chevy Trax to the test in a head to head challenge against the Honda HR-V, and we are pleased to report that the Trax came out on top! The two compact crossovers were assessed in three categories – driving and comfort, interior and cargo space, and features and value – and the Trax came out ahead in all three. The Trax boasts a peppier engine and more comfortable seats than the Honda, as well as a roomy cabin loaded with infotainment and safety features you’d expect in a pricier vehicle.

After a statement earlier this year from General Motors CEO Mary Barra regarding adding plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) to the GM lineup, the rumor mill has kicked into high gear. This week, anonymous sources have reported that the automaker has begun an immediate program to bring a PHEV version of the Chevy Silverado to market as quickly as possible. Plug-in hybrids provide the best of both worlds, with an electric motor that offers some emission-free all-electric miles for shorter trips, after which the gas-powered engine kicks on to provide more miles and towing power....

The folks at Cars.com recently developed their own system to measure the rear cargo areas of many vehicles on the market to determine which vehicles offer the most cargo room. We are pleased to report that the Chevy Suburban is their cargo room leader among full size SUVs. With the third row seats lowered, the Suburban offers a whopping 41.8 cubic feet of cargo room.
