The folks at Kelley Blue Book recently put the all new 2025 Chevrolet Equinox to the test in a head to head comparison versus Mazda’s midsize crossover, the CX-5. We are pleased to report that the Equinox came out on top in several key categories. The rugged styling of the exterior redesign as well as the infotainment system in the Equinox earn it big points. The 11-inch digital driver display and 11.3-inch touchscreen provide a lot of wow factor in the cabin, while standard heated front seats and steering wheel make the Equinox a great choice for harsh Chicago winters. Available all-wheel drive also provides better traction on slippery roads plus it provides more torque and an upgraded 8-speed automatic transmission. While both vehicles have basically the same starting price ($29,995 for the Equinox versus $29,990 for the CX-5), the Equinox provides more bang for your buck. Phillips Chevrolet of Frankfort, Lansing, and Bradley has Illinois’ Largest Chevy Inventory including a great selection of the roomy, well-appointed Equinox!
