Early next week at the Chicago Auto Show, General Motors plans to reveal the 2023 Chevrolet Blazer. While we’re unsure of the specifics, we do know that the Blazer will be undergoing revisions to both the interior and exterior. Over the weekend at the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale auction in Scottsdale, AZ, the first retail 2023 Corvette Z06 sold at auction for a whopping $3.6 million. This sale marks a new record for a charity vehicle donated by a manufacturer at the annual auction, surpassing the auction of the 2020 Corvette Stingray by $600,000! Kelley Blue Book recently put the Chevy Blazer to the test, head-to-head against the Volkswagen Atlas in a showdown of Midsize SUVs. We are pleased to report that the Blazer came out on top in fuel economy, engine strength, and aesthetics. General Motors Chair and CEO, Mary Barra, recently announced the company’s plan to invest over $7 billion across four Michigan manufacturing sites. This investment will include constructing a new cell plant near Lansing, MI for the creation of their proprietary, Ultium Cells, as well as converting their plant in Orion Township, MI into production for the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra EVs.
