GM has recently announced that the '22 Chevy Equinox will now be available with Automatic Parking Assist. Automatic Parking Assist will be available on the Premier trim level only, which is bundled as part of the Driver Confidence III package. It will be automatically added to the Premier trim models that are equipped with the Confidence and Convenience II package. This feature helps drivers easily reverse or maneuver into parking spaces. Assist takes care of the steering aspect of the parking process, the driver is still responsible for braking, acceleration and gear shifting as needed.

Along with new interior features and exterior aesthetics, the 2022 Chevrolet Traverse will include a disable switch for their automatic stop-start engine. While those who prefer to enable this feature to reduce fuel consumption and emissions when the vehicle comes to a halt, such as a long stop light, those who would like to disable this feature now have the option to do so. Production for the 2022 Traverse is slated to begin on August 2^nd, 2021.
