GM’s $7 Billion Investment

General Motors Chair and CEO, Mary Barra, recently announced the company’s plan to invest over $7 billion across four Michigan manufacturing sites. This investment will include constructing a new cell plant near Lansing, MI for the creation of their proprietary, Ultium Cells, as well as converting their plant in Orion Township, MI into production for the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra EVs. Silverado ZR2 Wheel Options Announced

Slated for February and March production, the ZR2 is anticipated to hit dealerships by Spring of 2022. The standard wheel will be an 18-inch aluminum machined face wheel with black painted spokes and an oxide gold painted outer ring. Chevrolet is also giving truck buyers the option to choose an 18-inch gloss black wheel instead. Both wheels will be exclusive to the ZR2 trim and will be wrapped in 33-inch Goodyear Wrangler Territory tires. Chevrolet Tahoe & Suburban Dominate Fourth Quarter of 2021

Despite inventory challenges throughout the nation, the Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban sales continued to grow and increased over 6 percent in the fourth quarter of 2021. 30,882 Tahoe units were sold last quarter compared to 28,698 units sold in 2020’s fourth quarter, marking over a 7 percent increase in Tahoe sales alone.
