Quarterly sales figures are in, and we are excited to see that Chevy Traverse sales for the second quarter of 2023 are 78% higher than Traverse sales in the same quarter last year. Year to date, 55% more drivers have chosen the Traverse than in the same period last year. The growing popularity of the Traverse is no surprise, considering it has earned many accolades, regularly landing on lists of the best vehicles for families and best three-row vehicles for providing a car-like driving experience while offering seating for up to eight people with plenty of cargo room leftover.

Consumer Reports recently compiled a list of the top 10 most affordable vehicles that have earned their recommendation and we are pleased to report that the Chevy Trailblazer earned a spot on the list! To earn Consumer Reports’ recommendation, a vehicle must meet CR’s standards for road-test performance, owner satisfaction, reliability, and safety. In particular, Consumer Reports commended the Trailblazer not only for its affordable price, but also for a comfortable ride and roomy interior, especially compared to competitors in the subcompact crossover SUV segment.

For even more automotive excitement, we are proud to sponsor the Frankfort Car Club’s weekly cruise nights which are held every Monday at Breidert Green in downtown Frankfort.

Everyone here at Phillips Chevrolet would like to thank Southside First Baseman Andrew Vaughn, for his visit to our dealership and to all the fans who came out to meet him. Andrew also took a bit of time during his visit to meet with students from the Lincoln-Way Athletics programs, giving them an opportunity for photo ops and a Q&A. Chicago Southside First Baseman Andrew Vaughn will be joining us this Wednesday evening for an in-store appearance including an autograph signing, photo op, and more! Vaughn was a top prospect in the 2019 MLB draft and the Southsiders selected him 3^rd overall. He made his major league debut in 2021 and has established himself as a reliable presence on first base as well as in the batter’s box.

J.D. Power just released the results of their 2023 U.S. Seat Quality and Satisfaction Study, and we are pleased to report that three Chevrolet models came out on top within their segments. This study compiled responses from 93,380 people who bought or leased a new 2023 model-year vehicle after 90 days of ownership to determine their satisfaction with the seats in their new vehicles. Segment leaders are the vehicles with the fewest reported seat problems within that period. In the Mass Market Midsize/Large Car segment, the Chevy Malibu had the fewest reported problems.
