In honor of both Breast Cancer Awareness Month and our 55th Anniversary in business, Phillips Chevrolet has dedicated the month of October to raising funds for the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer initiative. It was a big day today at Phillips Chevrolet of Lansing as we celebrated our first 10 years in business! Our team gathered for a luncheon with guests from the Village of Lansing, the Lansing Chamber of Commerce, and General Motors. Among the achievements we celebrated were more than 22,000 vehicles sold through September of this year, earning Chevrolet’s Mark of Excellence award for outstanding customer service and sales satisfaction for six straight years, and rising from 53^rd place in the region in sales to 4^th place.

We’re all eagerly anticipating the arrival of the Chevy Silverado EV which is due to arrive here at Phillips Chevrolet later this year. We already know that the Silverado EV is expected to provide a top range of 400 miles on a full charge when it’s not towing, and will able to tow up to 10,000 pounds, but how do those figures translate into real world towing scenarios? Earlier this summer Chevrolet unveiled the all-new redesigned 2024 Chevy Traverse arriving early next year. We were excited to learn that it will be available in the familiar LS, LT, and RS trim levels, as well as the off-road ready Z71 trim level for the first time. But some folks may have been wondering what happened to the top-of-line High Country trim level? Though it wasn’t included in the initial announcement, rumor has it that the High Country Traverse will return for the 2025 model year. 
 

Today marks the beginning of fall – why not head into the new season with a new career? Phillips Chevrolet is interviewing and hiring in multiple departments at our three locations to add to our award-winning team. Available positions include Oil Change Technician at our Frankfort location, Service Porter at our Bradley location,  and Internet Sales Associate at both our Lansing and Bradley stores. And there are plenty of opportunities for advancement as several members of our management team started out in the lowest entry level positions and rose in the ranks to head entire departments.
