Following a statement earlier this year from General Motors CEO Mary Barra regarding adding plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) to the GM lineup, the automotive media have begun speculating which GM vehicles might get the plug-in treatment. The undeniably cool look of the Chevrolet Blazer EV is about to get even cooler with the announcement of an available Blackout Package coming soon. This package, available exclusively on the 2LT trim level, will include front and rear black bow tie emblems, black nameplates, and 22-inch gloss black wheels. A Black Illumination Package has also been announced which will include an illuminated front bow tie.
