In the month of July, Phillips Chevrolet pledged to donate $25 to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital for every Equinox EV test drive at any Phillips location. 200 of our terrific customers did just that, and today we presented a check for $5,000 to Emily Chabot, Corporate Partnership Advisor for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. These funds will be used to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. Cars.com recently released the results of their Best Cars for Car Seats awards, and we are pleased to report that the Chevy Colorado was the only pickup truck to make the list! Every year Cars.com tests dozens of vehicles to see how they perform with a variety of child safety seats, and grade them on how easy the seats are and how securely they fit. Automotive research site iseecars.com has recently published the results of their Longest-Lasting Cars study to determine which vehicles were most likely to continue operating up to at least 250,000 miles. We pleased to report that the Chevy Suburban and Chevy Silverado 1500 both landed among their top 10 longest lasting vehicles. When well cared for, the Suburban is 2.5 times more likely to reach 250,000 than the average vehicle, and the Silverado is 2.2 times more likely than average....
