When the team here at Phillips Chevrolet in Frankfort learned that the Special Olympics Illinois Law Enforcement Torch Run would be passing right in front of our dealership this morning, we all hurried out to cheer the team on. Local law enforcement officers from the Frankfort Police Department participated to help raise funds and awareness for the Special Olympics. Just when you thought the eighth-generation Corvette couldn’t get any better, Chevrolet has gone and topped themselves with the Corvette ZR1X. The ZR1X combines the LT7 V-8 engine from the ZR1 with a version of the Corvette E-Ray’s electric motor to provide a total of 1,250 horsepower.
