Following a statement earlier this year from General Motors CEO Mary Barra regarding adding plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) to the GM lineup, the automotive media have begun speculating which GM vehicles might get the plug-in treatment. With a popular ICE version and a highly anticipated EV version arriving soon, the Chevy Equinox seems a likely candidate, especially because GM recently launched the Chevy Equinox Plus PHEV in international markets. MotorTrend recently asked their readers to vote on which vehicle they considered the Most Iconic Car of the Last 75 Years, and we are delighted, but not surprised, to report that the Chevrolet Corvette takes the title. The undeniably cool look of the Chevrolet Blazer EV is about to get even cooler with the announcement of an available Blackout Package coming soon. This package, available exclusively on the 2LT trim level, will include front and rear black bow tie emblems, black nameplates, and 22-inch gloss black wheels. A Black Illumination Package has also been announced which will include an illuminated front bow tie. Spring is officially here, and that means car show season is right around the corner! With the vernal equinox arriving this week to signal the much anticipated start of Spring, what better time to look at the timeline of another eagerly anticipated equinox - the all-new redesigned 2025 Chevy Equinox? Order books open in less than a month on April 18^th, allowing dealers like us to begin selecting the new Equinoxes that will land our showroom this summer. Production is slated to begin on June 17^th, and the new Equinox will begin arriving here at Phillips Chevrolet shortly thereafter. We can’t wait to get our first in-person look at redesigned.....
