Edmunds.com offers a wide variety of “Best” lists to help vehicle shoppers narrow their search. We are pleased to report that the Chevrolet Colorado has been named to several such lists. Chevrolet has just announced pricing for the all-new, redesigned 2020 Chevy Silverado HD and the great news is that it will start at a lower price than the outgoing model. An MSRP of $35,695 will get you a Silverado HD work truck with a regular cab. For higher trim levels, starting MSRP for the Silverado 2500HD Custom is $42,395, for LT it’s $43,395, LTZ starts at $52,095, and the top of the line High Country trim level starts at $62,695 MSRP. It’s been a little while since we’ve heard anything new about the 8^th generation mid-engine Chevrolet Corvette, scheduled to be unveiled on July 18^th in Southern California. An interesting new clue about the new Corvette’s aerodynamics may have leaked this week as a patent application was discovered for a novel new active aero system. That time may be coming soon as General Motors has teamed with Michelin have teamed up to develop the Uptis Prototype (“Unique Puncture-proof Tire System”) airless tire. This exciting new technology was demonstrated on the Chevrolet Bolt EV at an event last week at GM’s Milford Proving Ground in Michigan.
