The highly anticipated release of the 2027 Chevrolet Corvette has arrived! General Motors announced  the Corvette Grand Sport and Grand Sport X. These mid-engine corvettes will boast a new 6.7L V8 gasoline engine, with the Grand Sport model giving off around 535 horsepower and 520 pounds of torque. While the Grand Sport X will showcase the front mounting electric motor (previous seen in the C8 ZR1X) with a boost to a combine 721 horsepower.

Taking a look at the cosmetic look of the new corvette, GM has opted to bring back the Admiral Blue Metallic, which was the signature color of the Corvette C4. The Grand Sport will also be offered in the Pitch Grey Metallic, which will be available not only in the Grand Sport but the rest of the 2027 Corvette lineup. These new Corvettes are anticipated to start production this coming summer, it is still unknown what price will eventually be.
