Refreshing seems to be Chevrolet’s motto for the last few years. Recent highlights include the re-release of the Chevy Bolt, the new Corvette Grand Sport and Grand Sport X, and new adventure packages for the Tahoe and Suburban. Now, it is time for the Silverado to get a much-deserved refresh.

The 2027 Silverado is expected to feature a boxier design with an updated front end. Reports indicate it will offer a 2.7-liter inline-four Turbo, a 3.0-liter inline-six Duramax diesel, and the new sixth-generation small-block V8 engines. These exterior updates also suggest wider, more muscular fenders.

Inside the cabin, we anticipate seeing a massive curved infotainment screen, similar to those found in other recent Chevy models. While we currently only have a rendering, General Motors is expected to unveil the newest Silverado over the summer. Production is slated to begin around October, with the intent of releasing the vehicle to showrooms in early 2027.
