The folks over at Kelley Blue Book recently put some big SUVs to the test in a head to head battle between the Chevy Suburban and the Ford Expedition. We are pleased to report that the Suburban came out on top in several key areas. The Suburban is cargo king with 41.5 feet of cargo room behind the third row of seats compared to only 37.4 feet in the Expedition. The cargo space gets even better with seats lowered – the Suburban boasts 93.8 feet of cargo room with the third row seats removed and 144.5 feet with all but the front row of seats lowered, while the Expedition only offers 84.5 feet behind the second row and 123.1 feet with all seats lowered. The Suburban also offers a choice between a V8 gas engine or a diesel, while the Expedition’s only powertrain option is a V6. Phillips Chevrolet in Frankfort, Lansing, and Bradley has Illinois’ Largest Chevy Inventory, and a great selection of Suburban's in stock now.
