Online insurance company Insurify recently completed a study to determine which vehicles and automotive brands were most popular with various generations. We are pleased to report that nationwide, Chevrolet was the #1 brand with Generation X and Millenials, coming in second place with Generation Z, and third place with Baby Boomers. Chevrolet was also the most popular brand among all generations here in Illinois. Among specific models, the Chevrolet Silverado, Equinox, and Malibu all scored within the top ten among various generations. Insurify’s data science team ranked each generation’s most-owned car brand and model, nationally and by state, based on more than 4.5 million car insurance applications over the past 12 months.
