Chevrolet has just released a new teaser video offering a hint at the engine sound of the upcoming Chevrolet Corvette ZR1, and we like what we hear! The video is titled “Unthinkable Speed is Coming” in keeping with the expectation that this will be the most powerful Corvette ever, rumored the pair a turbocharged version of the 5.5-liter V8 found in the Z06 with the electric motor found in the Corvette E-Ray driving the front axle for extra power. The video also offers a glimpse of the ZR1’s rear end which features exhaust tips similar to those on the Z06. Chevrolet hasn’t set an official reveal date yet, but it should be sometime this summer so stay tuned to this blog and you’ll be among the first to see it!
