And to crank the anticipation up even higher, Chevrolet just released details that will surely please electric truck enthusiasts nation-wide. The Silverado EV RST was originally expected to offer a single-charge range of about 400 miles, but the official estimate released this week raises the range to 440 miles, making it the longest range electric truck to hit the market. The starting price of the fully-loaded the First-Edition RST will be $96,495, which falls below the $100,000+ price tag expected when the Silverado EV was first announced. We can’t wait to see what other pleasant surprises are offered in the Silverado EV RST when it arrives later this year.
