The 2024 Silverado EV, Chevy’s first electric pickup truck, was first announced with an expected driving range of 400 miles from a full charge on the Work Truck and RST trims. Official numbers from the Environmental Protection Agency came back to estimate that the 2024 Silverado EV 3WT and 4WT will deliver 450 miles of range after a full charge. This range is based on ideal conditions, and can vary based on weather, driving habits and payload. This estimate of 450 miles is 100 miles higher than its closest competitor, the Ford F-150 Lightning, which has an estimated driving range of 320 miles from a single charge. That is a 130-mile difference. The 2024 Silverado EV 3WT and 4WT will be built starting this spring exclusively for fleet customers. It has a 24-module battery pack that powers the front axle, and another that powers the rear axle. It has an output of 510 horsepower. Pricing starts at $72,905 for the 3WT and $77,905 for the 4WT.
