Chevrolet is celebrating the retirement of the Gen Six Camaro by offering a final special Collector’s Edition on the LT/RS, LT1, SS and ZL1 trims. The 2024 Camaro Collector’s Edition will resurface ties that date back to the development of the first-generation Camaro. The original codename for the Camaro in the 1960s was Panther, which is the name of this Collector’s Edition as well. This recognizes that name through its colors, tones, design and panther representations. The Collector’s Edition Camaro will have a new Panther Black Metallic Tintcoat paint, Satin Black accent strips, 20-inch Satin Black or optional Polished Forged Wheels, and the front splitter from the 1LE package. All of the vehicles will receive a serialized steering wheel badge representing where the vehicle was built, and the front fender script will integrate a panther into the “R”. The Collector’s Edition will also come with a welcome kit, and the ZL1 owners will receive a custom Shinola watch. Dealers begin accepting orders for the 2024 Camaro on June 15th, with a starting MSRP of $32,495 for the LT coupe, and $38,495 for the LT convertible.
