The 2024 Silverado HD is adding six new exterior colors to its palette. The colors are Auburn Metallic, Lakeshore Blue Metallic, Sterling Gray Metallic, Radiant Red Tintcoat, Slate Gray Metallic, and Dark Ash Metallic. GM Authority was able to get a first look at the new Ash hue, pictured above. The 2024 Silverado HD will have ten colors offered for its exterior. Along with the six new ones: Black, Iridescent Pearl Tricoat, Summit White, and Red Hot are also available. The 2024 Silverado HD has a naturally aspirated 6.6L V8 L8T gasoline engine which develops 401 horsepower and 463 pound-feet of torque as a standard. The 6.6L V8 L5P turbodiesel Duramax engine is optionally available with an output of 470 horsepower and 975 pound-feet of torque. Both gasoline and diesel are paired with the Allison-branded 10-speed automatic.
