supercharger.jpgLast Thursday, GM announced that it would be joining forces with Tesla and their Supercharger Network. GM CEO Marry Barra says, “This collaboration is a key part of our strategy and an important step in quickly expanding access to fast charger for our customers. Not only will it help make the transition to electric vehicles more seamless for our customers, but it could help move the industry toward a single North American charging standard.” The Tesla Supercharger Network will be available to GM drivers starting in 2024. It will initially require the use of an adapter, but by 2025 GM is anticipating its EVs to have a NACs inlet, which will give direct access to Superchargers. Being apart of this charging network coincides with GM’s big picture strategy to electrify its fleet.
