After celebrating its 70th Anniversary for the 2023 model year, the mid-engine Chevrolet Corvette is still going strong. Chevrolet just released the order guide for the 2024 model year, and there are a few notable changes. First and foremost is the addition of the long-anticipated E-Ray variant which enhances the Corvette’s V8 with a front mounted electric motor that boosts horsepower from 495 to 655 and torque from 470 to 595 pound-feet. Caffeine, Elkhart Lake Blue, and White Pearl Tricoat exterior colors have been discontinued and replaced with Cacti Green, Riptide Blue, and Sea Wolf Gray Tricoat. A suite of safety features, including Following Distance Indicator, Forward Collision Alert, Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, IntelliBeam auto high beams, Automatic Emergency Braking, and Front Pedestrian and Bicyclist Braking. will become standard on all Corvette trim levels in 2024.
