J.D Power recently released their Vehicle Dependability Study (VDS) examining how 2020 model-year vehicles are performing today and we’re happy to announce that three Chevrolet models ranked the highest in their segment. The Chevrolet Tahoe took first place in the Large SUV segment, the Blazer won in the Midsize SUV segment, and the Silverado HD came out on top in the Large Heavy-Duty Pickup segment. Multiple categories are assessed to determine the longevity of a vehicle including: climate technology, driving assistance, driving experience, interior and exterior, features/controls/displays, infotainment system, powertrain and seats. Jonathan Banks, Vice President and General Manager of vehicle valuations at J.D. Power highlighted the importance of these studies stating, “Having vehicles with strong dependability scores will nurture a positive brand perception and drive foot traffic.” Phillips Chevrolet of Frankfort, Lansing and Bradley has Illinois’ Largest Chevy Inventory, including a great selection of dependable Chevrolets.
