Earlier this year, Chevrolet announced that the Chevrolet Bolt EV will return with a new generation, despite previous word that it would be discontinued after the 2023 model year. Now we have a hint of when that next generation will debut, as General Motors CEO Mary Barra stated that the Bolt will return better than ever for 2025. The next generation Bolt will be built on General Motors’ Ultium battery platform and feature their Ultify technology that allows over-the-air software updates. No specific date has been set for the all-new Bolt’s debut, but there are plenty of electric Chevrolets to look forward to in the meantime. With the Chevy Blazer EV already on our lots and Silverado EV arriving soon, and the Chevy Equinox EV not far behind, Chevrolet will soon offer an electric vehicle that can meet just about any driver’s needs! Phillips Chevrolet of Frankfort, Lansing, and Bradley has Illinois’ Largest Chevy Inventory including a great selection of electric vehicles in stock now!
