The folks at Kelley Blue Book recently put the Chevrolet Equinox to the test in a head to head comparison versus Mazda’s midsize crossover, the CX-50. We are pleased to report that the equinox came out on top when comparing top trim levels. A fully loaded CX-50 costs $42,300 while a top of the line Equinox is only $34,795. For drivers who want all the Premier amenities like leather seating and a premium sound system, the Equinox offers them at a significantly lower price point. KBB was also impressed by the available cargo room in the Equinox, maxing out at 63.9 cubic feet with rear seats folded down, while the comparable cargo space in the CX-50 is only 56.3 cubic feet. For road-trippers who want maximum cargo room and maximum amenities, the Equinox is an easy choice. Phillips Chevrolet of Frankfort, Lansing, and Bradley has Illinois’ Largest Chevy Inventory including a great selection of the roomy, well-appointed Equinox!
