The anticipated Baja mode of the Chevy Colorado ZR2 has finally been introduced in the 2023 model year. Baja mode was developed with help from off-road racer, Chad Hall. This mode provides users to have more control on loose surfaces. The 2023 Chevy Colorado ZR2 is equipped with Baja mode for the intention of off-road recreational driving at high speeds specifically on hard-packed sand, dirt, and gravel surfaces. The pedal map, Four-Wheel Drive Auto system, transmission shift points, ESC and TCS will all be affected by Baja mode. The vehicle will have an optimized ABS for shorter stopping distances on loose surfaces. Baja mode can be activated through the Mode knob on the center console of the 2023 Chevy Colorado.
