Chevrolet electric vehicles are coming soon to a rental counter near you! General Motors and Hertz just announced a partnership in which Hertz will add up to 175,000 GM electric vehicles to their rental fleet in the next five years. Besides the currently available Chevy Bolt EV and EUV, the upcoming Silverado EV, Blazer EV and Equinox EV are all likely to be included in the deal. Hertz aims to have at least 25% of its fleet comprised of electric vehicles by 2024. "Our work with Hertz is a huge step forward for emissions reduction and EV adoption that will help create thousands of new EV customers for GM,” said GM Chair and CEO Mary Barra. “With the vehicle choice, technology and driving range we’re delivering, I'm confident that each rental experience will further increase purchase consideration for our products and drive growth for our company."
