Earlier this year, the highly anticipated 2024 Chevrolet Silverado EV was announced worldwide. Last month, onlookers were able to see it in person at the New York International Auto Show, and it did not disappoint. Recently, Silverado EV Executive Chief Engineer, Josh Tavel, revealed that the truck will be undergoing a redesign before reaching production- specifically focusing on the interior door panels. Looking at the picture above from the NY Auto Show, we don’t see any compartments for storage, which is what the redesign will be focused on. Implementing a lower compartment with dividers and cutouts will be added to allow for water bottle storage and other miscellaneous items. We’re interested to see how Chevrolet chooses to integrate the compartment while maintaining its sleek interior.
