We’re happy to announce General Motors utility sales have grown 27 percent since this time last year and Chevrolet commanded over half, or 61 percent of those total sales! In Q3 of 2021, utility sales were sitting at 220,731, with the Chevrolet Equinox having 32,444 units out. This year GM sold 281,265 units with the Equinox posting over a 44 percent increase to 46,646 units representing about 1/6th of all GM sales with the Tahoe and Traverse following. The Chevy Tahoe posted a 22 percent increase from 24,202 units to 29,585 and the Traverse followed with a 136 percent jump from last quarter from 10,767 units to 25,388 units.
