MotorTrend magazine recently announced their finalists for the 2023 Truck of the Year, and we are pleased to report that the Chevrolet Silverado 1500 is among the contenders. MotorTrend studied all the trucks that were all-new or significantly redesigned or refreshed for the 2023 model year, and judged them based on six criteria: Advancement in Design, Efficiency, Engineering Excellence, Performance of Intended Function, Safety and Value. The Silverado earned points for a greatly improved interior, as well as the off-road performance of the ZR2 model. Though they have not yet announced the winner. MotorTrend states that if they offered a “Most Improved” trophy, the Silverado would win it hands down.
