First introduced to the 2019 Colorado back in 2018, the Bison is now going to be an option on the Silverado ZR2. Similarly, it will be co-developed with American Expedition Vehicles (AEV) and allow for unique front and rear bumpers which improve approach and departure angles. This isn’t exactly surprising as last month, GM Authority spied a more rugged-looking Silverado ZR2 prototype (pictured above). We anticipate that the Bison will have the ZR2’s naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 gas engine providing 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. While we don’t have too much information on the Silverado ZR2 Bison, we believe it will likely launch for the 2023 model year with GM’s official announcement coming later this year.
