Safety matters when purchasing a vehicle and we’re happy to announce the Chevy Trailblazer has been awarded the Top Safety Pick rating from IIHS (Insurance Institute for Highway Safety). In order to even qualify for this award, a vehicle has to have at least a “Good” rating in six of the IIHS crashworthiness ratings (side, drive-side small overlap front, moderate overlap front, passenger-side small overlap front, roof strength, and restraint tests). In addition to the six ratings, vehicles must be offered with a front crash prevention system. The Trailblazer received a “Superior” rating for its front crash prevention system, “Advanced” rating in regard to vehicle-to pedestrian testing and, “Acceptable” and “Good” ratings for the two headlight systems offered.
