Chevrolet is back home in Indiana where it revealed (to little surprise) that the Chevy Corvette Stingray will again be this year’s Indy 500 pace car. However, many fans were given quite the surprise when the vehicle opened its top, revealing this as the Chevy Corvette Convertible. This is the first convertible to pace the race since 2008, and it definitely pleased fans with its sleek design. This car was done up in Artic White and gold with the Sky Cool Gray and Strike Yellow interior adding to this sporty look. The exterior also features race logos, an exclusive stripe package and other unique decals. Car lights are also incorporated into the car’s cover nacelles and the headlights and taillights will feature strobe lighting. We can’t wait to see this car race!
