Recently, Kelley Blue Book published the results of its 2021 Best Resale Value Awards, recognizing vehicles that are projected to retain the highest percentage of their original value through an initial five-year ownership period. We are excited to report the 2021 Chevy Corvette is projected to have the strongest resale value of all sports cars (retaining 49.5 percent of its original prices) after the 60-month period. KBB gave the Corvette points for the car’s impressive performance, 490-horsepower V8 engine and sub-$60,000 base price contributing to the high resale value. They summed it up nicely: “What’s behind this success? Well, the C8 Corvette is a great-looking car with a fantastic lineage dating back to 1953. What’s more, with a Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) still less than $60,000, the 2021 Chevrolet Corvette represents one of the best values in today’s market.”
